Rugged Ripple Texturing & Polished Contrast The stummel features a deeply craggy, ripples-and-valleys sandblast finish that feels exceptional in the hand and assists in keeping the pipe cool during longer sessions. Finished in a dark chocolate brown with rich auburn highlights breaking through the peaks, it contrasts beautifully against the massive, mirror-polished sterling silver mount. A smooth, polished under-panel preserves the factory markings with immaculate clarity.
Condition: Excellent / Estate. This piece is in superb shape. The wide, robust rim top is completely free of inner charring or rim-darkening, retaining its crisp, textured edge. The internal chamber walls are smooth and structurally perfect. The factory nomenclature on the smooth under-panel is pristine: SAVINELLI SILVER over an S (in a shield), right next to the 122 ITALY shape stamp.
Mounting & Stem: Equipped with a genuine factory sterling silver band, sharply stamped SAVINELLI on one flank and STERLING MOUNTED on the other. The high-quality black vulcanite saddle stem fits perfectly flush and has been buffed to a vibrant, jet-black mirror shine.
Since everyone has their own preferred methods to clean and sterilise internals of the shank and stem, we have intentionally not done this.
