A Unique Piece of Danish Pipe History This exceptional 1960s Fine Bruyere is an absolute treat for the discerning collector—not just for its pristine beauty, but for a fascinating factory quirk. While the shank is stamped "230," the pipe is indisputably Stanwell’s historic Model 30, with “2” signifying the finish code. Proudly carrying the vintage "REGD. No. 969-48" and "Modele Depose" stamps, it features the highly collectible, early-era crownless "S" on the saddle stem.
Condition: Near-Mint / Immaculate. The briar is flawless with an incredibly sharp, crisp rim showing zero scorching or wear. The unique vintage nomenclature stampings are deep and perfectly legible, and the vulcanite stem has been brought back to a rich, mirror-black luster.
Since everyone has their own preferred methods to clean and sterilise internals of the shank and stem, we have intentionally not done this.
