A Canvas of Flaming Straight Grain
The briar selection on this piece is exceptional for the line. A tight, vibrant field of straight grain flows elegantly up the sides of the bowl, perfectly transitioning into a densely packed mosaic of birdseye grain across the smooth, rounded heel. The rich contrast stain lets the natural architecture of the wood truly pop under the light.
Curation Notes:
Condition: Very Good / Restored. The vulcanite stem has been meticulously brought back to a deep mirror-black luster, showing only a whisper of minimal, barely noticeable micro-chatter under close inspection. The briar has been treated to a premium carnauba wax buffing. In the spirit of total honesty: there is a tiny touch of minor inner-rim charring from its past life, which is purely cosmetic, entirely stable, and doesn't affect the excellent internal engineering.
Since everyone has their own preferred methods to clean and sterilise internals of the shank and stem, we have intentionally not done this.
