Bari Renomée Handcrafted Freehand - Estate

€145.00

The Shape of Danish Artistry

There is a distinct magic to vintage Danish freehands from the golden era, and this Bari Renomée is a masterclass in organic design. Shaped with an undeniable nod to nature, the bowl sweeps up into a striking, organic leaf silhouette. The rim is a textured landscape of rugged, beautifully preserved plateau briar offering a wonderful contrast to the silk-smooth, warm finish of the bowl.

A Dramatic Contrast While the upper half of the briar flows with soft, sculptural lines, turn the pipe over to find a brilliant design twist: a sharply defined, edgy ridge running along the base. This architectural choice gives the pipe a modern, avant-garde profile in the hand. The flame grain wraps cleanly around the flanks, hinting at subtle ring-grain patterns beneath the polish.

The stem work on this piece is equally fabulous and features a beautifully stylised saddle bit that tapers with elegant precision, ensuring a highly comfortable, lightweight clench for a pipe of this presence.

Condition: Excellent / Gently Smoked. The vulcanite stem is a deep, mirror-black with zero oxidation. The rim is immaculate and completely free of char, and the chamber walls are in fabulous shape.

Since everyone has their own preferred methods to clean and sterilise internals of the shank and stem, we have intentionally not done this.

If you are interested in purchasing this pipe, please use the contact form, we are also open to receiving offers on any pipe.
