Parker 'Super Briar Bark' 322 - Estate
For lovers of classic English sandblasts, this Parker Super Briar Bark is a masterclass in rugged elegance. Produced in London by Dunhill’s closely linked sibling brand, Parker pipes of this era utilized the exact same high-grade English turning methods and premium briar blocks, offering an elite smoking experience with an unmistakably classic silhouette.
The sandblast on this piece is exceptionally deep and tactile, featuring a craggy, heavily wrinkled "Briar Bark" texture that feels wonderful in the hand. The shape 322 delivers a beautifully balanced, sturdy pipe with subtle paneling along the shank. The nomenclature on the smooth underbelly is exceptionally crisp, featuring the PARKER SUPER BRIAR BARK diamond stamp alongside MADE IN LONDON ENGLAND and the 322 shape code.
The shape 322 is technically categorized as a paneled variation, but this specific piece features a masterful, dramatic architectural taper. The bowl pinches tightly inward halfway up the chamber—closely mimicking the aggressive waistline of a classic Bulldog.
Condition Report: 9/10 near-mint estate condition. The rugged rim is completely clean, perfectly flat, and entirely free from scorching or carbon buildup. The high-grade vulcanite saddle stem has been polished to a glass-like mirror black finish, displaying the iconic, crisp white Diamond P logo on the side without oxidation or bite marks. Ready for a lifetime of dependable service.
