The Briar & Geometry
The stummel is dressed in a warm, chestnut-amber contrast finish that highlights an excellent mix of tight flame grain sweeping up the bowl flanks and dense cross-grain along the front and back. The bowl features the iconic, crisp twin beadlines of the classic Bulldog shape, transitioning perfectly into an expertly bevelled rim. The exceptionally long, round shank tapers seamlessly into a glossy black stem, creating a striking, unbroken profile line.
Curation Notes:
Condition: Excellent Estate Condition. The crisp, bevelled rim is remarkably clean with perfect inner geometry. The briar finish retains a beautiful, deep lustre with only a couple of minuscule, superficial handling marks consistent with light, careful use—you truly have to search under a loupe to spot them.
Stem: High-grade, crystal-clear black vulcanite tapered stem. The draft hole alignment is spot-on, and the bit is entirely free of tooth chatter or oxidation.

Smoking Characteristics: The extended 190mm length gives the smoke plenty of real estate to cool down before it ever reaches the button, making this an absolute dream for highlighting the natural sweetness of bright Virginias or nuanced VaPer blends.
