Butz-Choquin 'Cobra' Freehand - New Old Stock

€185.00

Standard Billiards are great, but sometimes you want a pipe that looks like it could actively defend your desk. Enter the legendary Butz-Choquin Cobra—arguably the wildest, most unapologetically theatrical freehand design to ever emerge from the historic workshops of Saint-Claude, France.

Carved during BC’s golden era of 1980s experimentation, this sculptural marvel perfectly mimics the dramatic, flared hood of a King Cobra about to strike. The architecture here is brilliant: a wide, flat, trumpet-style rim loops down into a deeply canted chamber, sweeping backward along a fluid, slithering shank. Because it’s a high-grade smooth finish, it puts on a spectacular grain show, flashing a dense patch of complex grain on the "hood" and tight ripples of vertical flame grain flowing down the underbelly.

This vintage survivor is pristine, unsmoked New Old Stock (NOS). The chamber is entirely virgin, the draft is wide open and engineered to perfection, and the original acrylic stem sits completely flush. It doesn't have its original box, but it will slide safely into its protective pouch, ready to completely upend your collection.
