Butz-Choquin "Camargue" 1571 Billiard - New Old Stock

€145.00

A Stealthy French Masterpiece of Modern Monochrome Design

Looking for a 80s piece that feels effortlessly modern? This New Old Stock (NOS), unsmoked Butz-Choquin "Camargue" is an absolute design triumph from St. Claude, France. Featuring a crisp Billiard shape, the Camargue pairs an ink-black matte finish with a mirror-polished sterling silver mount, delivering a striking, high-contrast "tuxedo" aesthetic.

The Raw Rim Contrast

The true genius of the design is on top: the carver left the wide, flat rim entirely natural and smooth. This creates a stunning halo of warm, golden briar grain that perfectly frames the chamber and offsets the dark drama of the bowl. Because this pipe is completely New Old Stock, the chamber is virgin briar, the rim is immaculate, and it is waiting to be broken in for the very first time.

Condition: Mint / New Old Stock. This pipe has never been packed or lit. The stamping is sharp and deeply struck, displaying Butz-Choquin / Camargue on one flank and St. Claude / France / 1571 on the other. The sterling silver band is bright and clearly marked “sterling silver”. The stem features a pristine, bright silver-infilled "BC" logo and is free of any shelf wear. Comes with a BC stamped leather pouch.
