Bari Squash Bent Dublin Variant - 1980s Estate

€65.00

A Danish Export Gem with a Muscular Conical Flare

For enthusiasts who appreciate the dramatic, fluid geometry of golden-era Scandinavian design, this vintage Bari estate is an absolute standout. Hailing from Bari's highly regarded "Squash" line—celebrated for its rich contrast stains and striking wood selection—this rare 7310 model is a specialized export variant that delivers a gorgeous twist on the classic Dublin silhouette.

The Architecture & Flavor Profile

Viewed in profile, the stummel boasts a bold, beautifully executed Bent Dublin architecture. The bowl features a dramatic, conical V-shape flare that starts lean at the heel and expands outward toward a wide, substantial rim.

The entire has pipe a wonderful sense of motion and an incredibly light, effortless feel in the jaw. The grain layout outperforms its price bracket entirely, showcasing a gorgeous burst of straight flame grain fanning vertically up the sides of the conical bowl, topped with a smooth rim dense with natural birdseye.

Curation Notes:

  • Condition: Very Good Vintage Estate condition. Reamed, and hand-buffed. Under close inspection, a few microscopic surface nicks are present from honest historical use and the natural grain, without impacting its superb smoking performance.

  • Stem & Comfort: Fitted with its original jet-black vulcanite saddle stem, offering an ultra-comfortable bit designed for effortless hands-free clenching.

  • Nomenclature & Provenance:

    • Stamped Bari over Squash (denoting its specific premium-grain grading series).

    • Explicitly marked with the rare, un-cataloged four-digit export shape code: 7310.

    • Stamped: Made in Denmark.

    • Since everyone has their own preferred methods to clean and sterilise internals of the shank and stem, we have intentionally not done this.
