Finding a late 1960s Dunhill in top-shelf condition is always a treat, but this 1968 Shell Briar Shape 120 F/T is on another level entirely. Featuring a deep, expressive ring-grain sandblast that practically dances in the light, this iconic bent billiard offers that signature, cozy hand-feel that makes Dunhills of this era so legendary. Plus, it comes drilled for a 9mm filter—a fantastic, rare feature for a late-60s Dunhill!
Dating to 1968 (stamped with the classic single-digit suffix '8'), this Group 4 gem comes to us in remarkable shape. The original Fish Tail (F/T) vulcanite stem retains its jet-black sheen, the rim is remarkably tidy, and the shank stamps—including the shape code 120 F/T and '4S' designation—are razor-sharp. At 59 grams, it rests with absolute grace in the hand, making it a proud centerpiece for any serious collector or anyone looking for the ultimate fireside smoker.
