Executive-Scale Elegance in Swirling 360-Degree Bird's-Eye.
A magnificent, large-format vintage estate piece from classic French pipemaker Ropp. Stamped "ROPP DIPLOMATE" within the oval logo on the shank face and "Selected 7A" on the reverse, this impressive 165 mm Billiard represents the pinnacle of Saint-Claude executive pipe design.
The bowl is a show stopping canvas of briar art, completely enveloped in a dense, swirling landscape of deep bird's-eye and flame grain under a rich golden stain. Boasting a commanding 55 mm bowl height, a generous 21 mm chamber, and a sturdy 55-gram hand feel, it delivers a cool, luxurious smoking experience. Fitted with its original stem featuring Ropp's crisp metal inlaid logo in near-mint, pitch-black condition. Two minor natural briar inclusions on the bowl add genuine vintage character to an otherwise spectacular piece.
