An exceptional, unsmoked artifact from the golden era of Danish pipe making. This 1970s Georg Jensen Freehand captures everything collectors love about classic Scandinavian design: dramatic lines, organic plateau top, and briar grain that demands attention.
Crafted during the peak of Jensen's production, this piece features a craggy, deeply textured plateau rim that contrasts brilliantly against the warm, high-contrast amber stain of the bowl. Dense flame grain sweeps across the flanks, meeting swirls of bird’s-eye along the heel and underside.
The custom vulcanite stem boasts the iconic swollen accent design near the tenon and displays a pristine, crisp white "GJ" logo stamp. Preserved in unsmoked, mint condition, this is a true museum-grade piece of Danish pipe-making history.
