Stamped "BIG-BEN COMMODORE" on the shank alongside the vintage shape code "12454," this straight Bulldog also features the rare retailer mark "TIESINGA GRONINGEN" on the underside—a true mark of historic Dutch tobacconist heritage.
The bowl is a showpiece of natural figure, boasting a sweeping canvas of tight, swirling bird's-eye across the front, back, and underbelly, framed by crisp double-beaded rim grooves. At 46 grams with a well-proportioned 20mm chamber, this diamond-shanked classic balances formal geometry with excellent hand feel. Fitted with its original black stem featuring the inlaid Big Ben "B" logo in sharp, unworn condition. Transparently noted with a tiny natural briar inclusion near the model number and light, honest handling marks.
