The Architecture & Danish Modern Heritage
Founded in Copenhagen in 1954 by Per Georg Jensen, the Georg Jensen workshop produced some of the most recognizable mid-century Scandinavian pipe shapes before closing in 2001. This pipe features a crisp, deeply etched sandblast finish designed to showcase the briar's underlying ring grain. Shape #T125 is a classic, boasting a plump bowl, and a soft forward transition that leads into a tapering vulcanite stem.
Curation Notes:
Condition: Mint New Old Stock. Completely unsmoked with factory-original carbon coating inside the chamber. The rim top remains crisp and untouched. The deep sandblast finish displays vibrant tan and warm cognac highlights with zero handling wear. The vulcanite stem is pristine, maintaining its original deep black lustre, and the white interlocked GJ logo on the flank is perfectly intact.
Nomenclature: Left shank stamped GEORG JENSEN over Made in Denmark PIPES. Right shank stamped TANN over T125. Stem features the iconic white interlocked GJ emblem.
