The Architecture & Ring Grain Sandblast
The 1993 Edition is celebrated for its fluid, sweeping Volcano profile. Because this piece is stamped "Handmade," the stummel was individually curated to follow the crowning achievement of the briar block.
Rather than a standard smooth finish, the wood has been treated to a crisp, beautifully executed sandblast. The blast highlights a spectacular display of concentric, high-relief "ring grain" that ripples flawlessly around the entire circumference of the bowl, perfectly complemented by a dense field of craggy texture across the asymmetrical heel.
Dressed in a rich, dark espresso and walnut stain, the rugged texture creates a phenomenal visual contrast against the pipe's true crown jewel: a custom-fitted saddle stem in a smooth amber briar that catches the light like liquid gemstones. Comes with pouch.
